SPRING SEMESTER CLASSES

Musical Theater Performance Class - Various Days - 5th-8th grade

CLASSES START APRIL 24TH! DON’T MISS OUR ON OUR LATE SPRING PERFORMANCE CLASS MUSICAL!

This performance class is an opportunity for students to experience auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a musical. Auditions will take place during the first class, and everyone will be part of the action! Throughout this course we will prepare and rehearse a 60 minute, fully staged show, with costumes, for our families. Please note this class runs various days and provides over 35 hours of theater time!

“Get your head in the game” for our spring musical performance class! Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on our stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family proving that “we’re all in this together”!

CLASSES: From 5:00pm-7:00pm on the following days: Wednesdays - April 24/ May 1, 8, 15, 22 Thursdays - 5:00pm-7:00pm - April 25/ May 2, 9, 16, 23 Fridays - 5:00pm-7:00pm - May 10, 24

PLUS, Tech Rehearsals from 5:00pm-7:00pm - May 28, 29, 30, 31* (*this date may be used for a show date)

FEE: $390.00

PERFORMANCES: Saturday, June 1st at 2:00pm and 4:00pm (Students must be able to perform at both shows)

FAMILY SHOW TICKETS: $15.00 each and will be on sale closer to show time!

Get ready to sing and dance your way through this amazing class! Work with our Music Director to learn vocal fundamentals, proper breathing techniques and acting through song. The second half of class we will work on dance warm-ups, musical theater dance technique, and choreography for some of our favorite Broadway songs. Parents will be invited to the final class for our Song and Dance Showcase.

Musical Theater Performance Class - Mondays/Tuesdays - 3rd-6th grade

This performance class is an opportunity for students to experience auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a musical. Auditions will take place during the first class, and everyone will be part of the action! Throughout this course we will prepare and rehearse a 30 minute, fully staged show, with costumes, for our families. Please note that this is a two day class that provides 36 hours of theater time!

Get ready for some truly icy weather coming this spring with our musical class! Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.”
